The Highlanders Project

The tennis courts at Governor Livingston High School have been abandoned and are no longer available for student use. As a result, students have been forced to travel elsewhere in the community to practice and participate in their tennis programs.

Berkeley Heights Tennis Association is leading an effort to raise the funds and community support needed to rebuild these courts.

​

Restoring the facility will:

• Provide Governor Livingston students with a dedicated place to practice and compete.

• Reduce the need for teams to travel to outside facilities.

• Create safer and more reliable playing conditions.

• Support school athletics and youth tennis development.

• Expand access to tennis for the surrounding community.

• Establish a long-term recreational asset for future generations.
   

Our goal is not simply to repair these courts. It is to restore an important community resource and create a permanent home for tennis at Governor Livingston High School.
